Wellenplateaus by Matthew Williamson
Wie die Zeit vergeht. Bereits vor vier Jahren präsentierte uns Schnati im Kölner Park eine Preview auf Matthew Williamson by H&M. Voller Vorfreude auf die Kollektion stürmten wir Tage später das schwedische Modehaus. Als typischer Look des britischen Designers galten damals wie heute grelle Farben und extravagante Designs. Mode für selbstbewusste Frauen, die nicht davor zurückschrecken auch mal aus der Reihe zu tanzen. Williamson kombiniert Formen und Farben vollkommen neu und zeigt uns zur Spring/Summer Saison 2013 wieder einmal, dass Mode ist mehr ist, als das Verhüllen von Körpern.
Wellenförmiger Plateau trifft auf Pfennigabsatz. Vielen Frauen erscheint der stilvolle Gang darin wohl unmöglich. Gummistopper an der Sohle ermöglichen trotz allem einen guten Grip und verwandeln das unsicher Herumtorkeln in einen stabilen Schritt. Auch das Obermaterial zeigt sich alles andere als gewöhnlich: Snake Print meets Goldlack. Ein pinker Neonstreifen zwischen Plateau und Pfennigabsatz dient als Verbindungselement der gesamten Kollektion. Selbst Riemchen bleibt bei Williamson nicht einfach ein Riemchen. Orientalisch angehauchtes Design findet sich als perlenbesetzte Kettenkombination wieder. Unser persönliches Highlight: Der nachtblaue Wildleder-Heel mit geschwungenem Lackeinsatz. Nicht zu übertrieben und trotzdem alles andere als alltäglich!

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
