Wir hängen 90er-Kopfhörer an unsere iPhones, erstellen Mixtapes für Freunde und knipsen die wichtigsten Momente mit der Polaroid-Kamera. Im Zeitalter der Nostalgiebegeisterung darf es gar nicht kultig genug sein. Seit Jahren verdrängt die Schallplatte unsere CDs aus dem Musikregal und ist wohl die größte Konkurrenz zum Mp3-Download. Das Label entstaubt den unverwüstlichen Desert Boot und rückt ihn in neues (Neon-) Licht. Inspiriert vom minimalen, puren Style der Schallplatte überrascht uns Clarks mit einem Remake seines Klassikers. Eine aufgenähte Vinylform ziert die Fersen der Kultschuhe, auch die Seiten wurden mit der Platte versehen. Für alle, denen die massiven Docs zu globig sind, ist der Lackboot in Pink, Blau und Schwarz die perfekte Alternative.
Mit den Boots erinnern wir uns an den Sound vergangener Zeiten zurück. Als man noch von Seite A auf B wechseln musste, um ein ganzes Album zu hören. Alle Nostalgiker unter euch, können sich den Schuh mit der unverwechselbaren Kreppsohle ab 139,95€ hier bestellen.
