Chelsea Boot Prints by Crick It
Längst hat der britische Herrenklassiker seinen festen Platz ins unserem Schuhschrank gefunden. Flache Sohle und seitliche Gummibandeinsätze ermöglichen, neben stilvoller Optik, einen bequemen Schritt. Ob als Lack-, Velours-, Leder- oder Leoprintmodell, den Chelsea Boot gibt es mittlerweile in allen erdenklichen Variationen. Dennoch bleibt eines gemeinsam: Der schwarze Gummibandeinsatz. Das seitliche Markenzeichen des Schuhs nutzt nun das Label Crick It, um aus dem klassischen Briten einen echten Hinkucker zu gestalten.
Hinter der Marke steht die deutsche Designerin Julia Mouget. Die Hamburger studierte am renommierten Londoner Cordwainers College und arbeitete bis zu ihrem Abschluss bei John Lobb, dem persönlichen Schuhmacher der Queen. Die jahrlange Arbeit prägte ihren Sinn für Stil und Trends. London wurde zur Inspirationsquelle: Englischer Look und Print trifft auf tradiotionsreiche Modelle. In der beliebten britischen Sportart Cricket fand sie schließlich ihren Labelnamen. Der Sport und somit das Label gelten als vornehme Gentlemen-Attitude, die auch von ihren Schuhkreationen ausgestrahlt wird.
Ganz nach dem Motto: London Calling fühlen wir uns mit den Modellen, wie auf die Abbey Road versetzt. Die britische Hauptstadt findet sich besonders bei dem roten Veloursleder Modell als Flaggenprint wieder. Unser Favorit bleibt allerdings das senfgelbe Modell, mit dem netten Herren und seinen Wassereimern. Sonst tragen wir auch liebend gerne Nostalgieprints auf unseren klischeebehafteten Jutebeuteln durch die Gegend, wieso also nicht auch mal an den Füßen?
