Es gibt Kampagnenbilder, bei denen das Produkt bedingungslos im Mittelpunkt steht. Bewusst werden zurückhaltende Farben und Mobiliar gewählt, um auf gar keinen Fall vom schicken Abendkleid, der coolen Skinny Jeans oder den Chandelier-Ohrringen abzulenken. Und dann gibt es „Northern Heights, Wuthering Lights" von Joanne Stoker. Wir zeigen euch die Fotos, die mindestens genauso extravagant sind, wie die Schuhe selbst sind.
Die Avantgarde Schuhdesignerin mag es bunt, auffällig und grell. Langweilige Formen und dezente Farben kommen für sie nicht in Frage - weder beim Schuhwerk noch bei der dazugehörigen Kampagne. Auch der Name der Kollektion ist nicht alltäglich. Schließlich kennt man Nordlichter und Sturmhöhen, aber wohl kaum nordische Höhen und stürmende Lichter. Bei Stoker ist eben alles ein bisschen anders und das macht gerade den Reiz des Labels aus. Die Kreationen scheinen von einem fremden, magischen Ort zu stammen, der mit der gegenwärtigen Realität wenig zu tun hat. Es ergibt sich ein Potpourri aus Weltall, Natur und futuristischen Einflüssen.
Jeder einzelne Schuh ist ein Highlight, was nicht heißt, dass wir jedes Paar vergöttern und am liebsten tagtäglich tragen würden. Aber darum geht es auch nicht, sondern um die Einzigartigkeit und Kreativität, die sie ausstrahlen. Geometrische Formen, Plexiglas-Details und gewagte Materialmixe lassen die Modelle mal mystisch, mal verspielt wirken.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
