Schickes Beindekor: Strümpfe von Bebaroque
Eigentlich sind wir bereit unsere Füße in Sandalen, Espadrilles und Co. zu stecken, doch leider spielt das Wetter da noch nicht ganz mit. Stattdessen kommen nach wie vor feste Schuhe und Socken zum Einsatz. Weil ich Optimist bin, habe ich mir einen Grund gesucht, warum wir uns darüber freuen sollten. Denn so können wir die schönen Strümpfe und Strumpfhosen von Bebaroque tragen.
Das Label wurde 2007 von Mhairi McNicol und Chloe Patience gegründet. In Schottland fertigen sie aufwendig bestickte und bedruckte Beindekor. Jedes Modell wird in mühevoller Handarbeit hergestellt. Da kostet eine Strumpfhose dann schnell einmal 200 Euro. Doch man kann sich sicher sein, etwas sehr besonderes zu tragen. Und eigentlich benötigt man für einen schönen Look nicht viel mehr als ein Bebaroque-Stück. In Kombination mit schlichten Teilen und Accessoires erstrahlen die Strümpfe, Strumpfhosen oder Bodys am meisten.
Kein Wunder, dass das Label bereits berühmte Fans wie Bonnie Strange, Kelis und Susie Bubble hat. Die Produkte des Labels kann man im KaDeWe in Berlin kaufen oder online im Shop. Was haltet ihr von der Beinbekleidung?

Die schlichte schwarze mit dem "Sternenhimmel" mag ich. Und Foto Nr. 3 mit den gekreuzten Beinen - oh la la! ;-) Strümpfe und Schuhe wahre Kunstwerke, und die schöne Aufnahme als knisternde Werbung durchaus ein Augenschmaus.

Hach, ich bin ein richtiger Strumpfhosen-Fanatiker und eigentlich immer auf der Suche nach schönen, ausgefallenen Modellen. Die Bebaroque Modelle sind wirklich schön! und ausgefällen, richtige Strumpf-Kunst. Leider wäre es bei den Preisen fast schon schade die Strümpfe anzuziehn, ist ja nicht das widerstandsfähigste Material und Kandidaten wie ich würden sofort eine Laufmasche reinreißen...

Rather than inrease internationalization, strive for diversity among the student body. The urban poor at Wesleyan is severely under-represented. Outreach programs must exist to provide the poor with mentors and tutors in order to prepare them for a Wesleyan Education.
Second, restore Wesleyan's Educational Studies Program. One of the best ways to increase public knowledge of the outstanding education offered by Wesleyan is to send alumni into the teaching ranks. In this economy there is widespread unemployment, but a dire need for highly qualified public educators. Please consider.
