Prada im Kopf - Buffalo und Vagabond stehen auf Flatforms
Was vor zwei Jahren der Clog war, ist in diesem Jahr der Flatform. Prada schickte seine Models mit den Schuhen mit grader Sohle auf den Catwalk, tauchte die Sohle in bunte Farbe und setzte oben klassische Schuhmodelle drauf. Fertig war der Trend, der nun allzu gerne getragen und auch schon von anderen Firmen kopiert oder interpretiert wird. Jeffrey Campbell mischt wieder ganz vorne beim Kopieren mit und trumpft mit seinem JC AD-Longs auf. Auch von Vagabond gibt es bereits einige Flatform-Modelle, die im nächsten Frühjahr noch Farbe verpasst bekommen und von uns viel Liebe erhalten. Vor dem Stand von Buffalo bei der Bread And Butter in Berlin standen wir gestern eher amüsiert. Die gehen sehr weit beim Imitieren, aber macht euch selbst ein Bild davon auf der nächsten Seite.
Ok, eins vorab - Buffalo dürfen solche Schuhe machen. Wenn eine Firma das Recht darauf hat hohe Schuhe mit durchgängig gleichhoher Sohle zu schaffen, dann Buffalo. In den Neunzigern waren sie die Kings im Ring und wir alle erinnern uns noch allzu gut an die ursprüngliche Schuhe aus dem Haus Buffalo. Hoch, klobig, Rave. Die Sohle ist jetzt wieder bei Buffalo angekommen, bei den Sohlen lässt man sich von Prada inspirieren. Gerne 1:1 - So frech muss man erst einmal sein.
Buffalo
Bei Vagabond geht es etwas gemäßigter zu. Die setzen auch auf Flatforms, aber das machen sie auch schon in diesem Jahr. Im nächsten Frühjahr gibt es verschiedene Höhen und die Farbe zieht auf den Schuhen ein. Die Farbkombinationen haben uns ganz wuschig gemacht und etwas verliebt sind wir auch in die Schuhe. Die flachere Variante der Schuhe ist perfekt. Ein Probelauf bei der Bread And Butter wurde uns genehmigt und wir hätten die Schuhe am liebsten gar nicht wieder ausgezogen. Darum Daumen hoch für Vagabond, die in das Farbtöpfchen fallen und uns in die Hände klatschen lassen.

Bei Buffalo sieht's eher schrecklich aus (ganz besonders diese seltsamen Stiefel), aber bei Vagabond sind einige Perlen dabei - die finde ich nicht einmal von Prada abgekupfert, sind doch was völlig eigenes.
