Jeffrey Campbell - Andy Warhol Slipper
Das Label Jeffrey Campbell hat schon viel geklaut. Vor fast keinem Modell haben sie Halt gemacht, aber mit dieser Adaption des Kunstthemas liegen sie ganz richtig. Sonst hieß es eins zu eins kopieren. Heute nimmt man sich Andy Warhol und seine Tomatendose zur Brust und packt jenes Motiv auf den Slipper. Applaus, so eine Weiterentwicklung von bestehenden Motiven begrüßen wir.
Andy Warhol und sein Pop Art kennt jeder. Neben Lichtenstein ist er der bekannteste Vertreter des Pop Arts und fast jeder liebt seine Motive. Jeffrey Campbell hat sich nun ein Motiv zur Brust genommen und lässt den Pop auf dem Slipper aufleben. Das ist eine wunderbare Hommage, die wir sehr gerne an unseren Füßen tragen würden. Da der Slipper so gut geworden ist, gibt es leider nur noch Restbestände. Für 92 Dollar ist der Schuh bei Eilatan derzeit noch verfügbar.
