Musiker und Sneaker - Kiss x Vans
Kiss scheinen nicht genug davon zu kriegen, ihr Gesicht auf Sneakern zu sehen. Nachdem ihre Köpfe schon zwei verschiedene Vans-Editions schmückten, geht die Band um Gene Simmons nun mit Vans in die dritte Runde. Diesmal erblickt das Artwork von „Rock N Roll Over" aus dem Jahr 1976 das Licht auf dem Vans Sk8 Hi und dem Slip-On. Und damit das Paket komplett ist, packt Vans noch ein paar Shirts obendrauf.
Das Paket kommt im Juni auf den Markt. Wer durch den Kiss-Schuh jetzt auf den Geschmack gekommen ist, dem sei der Chuck Taylor All Star samt seiner Musikerreihe ans Herz gelegt.
Spätestens seit dem letzten Jahr ist klar, mit was Converse sich gerne schmückt. Mit Bands. Die Werbekampagne zum Geburtstag fuhr ein Aufgebot von Musikkünstler auf, Julian Casablancas von The Strokes sang mit Pharrell Williams und Santigold ein Liedchen und ein neuer Schuh mit den Lyrics von Kurt Cobain auf dem Schuh wurde released. Ob nun Schluss ist? Nein, Sneaker von Metallica und AC/DC stehen in den Startlöchern und wollen genauso laut den Schuh rocken wie Kiss.
