Ausstellungstipp: STAGES in New York
Nike und die Lance Armstrong Foundation haben zusammen mit über 20 renommierten Künstlern die Wanderausstellung STAGES auf die Beine gestellt. Nach ihrer ersten Station in Paris diesen Sommer, kehren sie nun in der New Yorker Deitch Gallery ein, um in ein paar Wochen dann nach Miami zur Art Basel weiterzuziehen.
Zu den namhaften Befürwortern gehören unter anderem Ed Ruscha, KAWS, José Parlá, Andreas Gursky, Shepard Fairey und Richard Prince.
Das Prinzip der Aktion liest sich wie folgt:
It unites the world of art, philanthropy, and sport by bringing together some of the most renowned figures in art to produce work inspired by Lance and his fight against cancer. All work is available for purchase with proceeds directly benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Join the fight. LIVESTRONG.
